Unable to apply patch

My webgui has been extremely slow lately, and I found this issue with IPSec and pcscd that I believe is causing the problem (#11933).

I am trying to apply the system patch mentioned there (afcc0e9c97c1993ae6b95f886665fcb4375d26c7). I have tried both the patch ID only and the URL https://github.com/pfsense/pfsense/commit/afcc0e9c97c1993ae6b95f886665fcb4375d26c7.

The URL fails with "Patch fetch failed" when I try to Fetch it, and I get "The supplied commit ID/URL appears to be invalid" if I use the patch commit only.

My box can resolve and ping github.com. What am I missing to get this patch?

@mcarson75 hmm..

I just tried to duplicate - and working here.

I put in

afcc0e9c97c1993ae6b95f886665fcb4375d26c7

And it fetched just fine.

@johnpoz Thanks for that. I did get it working, it was a copy/paste error - there was a space at the end of the commit ID. As soon as I removed that it started working. I will flog myself accordingly.
