      Hi,

I recently bought XG-7100 DT and am trying to get pfSense setup with my BT Business Broadband provider. As part of the package, I pay for 5 static IP addresses that I need to setup. I thought the best way to do this would be to set my DrayTek modem to PPPoE pass-through over LAN and connect the port to WAN (ETH1) on pfSense.

However this only seems to partly work - I get connected to the internet but I have a random IP address assigned and am pointing to a different gateway than my ISP has given me. How to I set my IP address, subnet and gateway for PPPoE in pfSense?

I seem to be having the same issue as this person here:

      https://forum.netgate.com/topic/144725/pppoe-with-static-ip-assignment-best-option

However I can't find the /var/etc/mpd_wan.conf file they mention.

      Many thanks!

Hi @andyp, did you resolve this?

I also have this issue with a Vodafone broadband line - that assign a single static IP and routed IPs but DHCP does not deliver the static.

        Thanks.
