      My pfsense with PFBlockerNG and DNS Resolver are resolving only ipv6 for a nslookup for smtp.office365.com

      like you can see:

      PS C:\Users\Rodrigo> nslookup smtp.office365.com
      Servidor:  pfSense.localdomain
      Address:  172.17.17.45

      Não é resposta autoritativa:
      Nome:    cpq-efz.ms-acdc.office.com
      Addresses:  2603:1056:402:2d::2
                2603:1056:c03:1800::2
                2603:1056:c03:1804::2
                2603:1056:402:2::2
      Aliases:  smtp.office365.com
                outlook.office365.com
                outlook.ha.office365.com
                outlook.ms-acdc.office.com

      when I restart the service (DNS Resolver) pfsense return to resolving for ipv4 and ipv6.

        This :

        @miquim said in DNS Resolver resolving only ipv6 results:

        PS C:\Users\Rodrigo> nslookup smtp.office365.com

        is what you send to pfSense, the resolver.
        Several logs, under the menu "Status" and 'pfBlockerNG' are available so you can see what unbound did with the request.
        We, here on the forum, can't see these logs. You can ;)

        Btw :

        @miquim said in DNS Resolver resolving only ipv6 results:

        My pfsense with PFBlockerNG and DNS Resolver are resolving only ipv6 for a nslookup for smtp.office365.com

        you wrote the answer. The most plausible situation is : remove (deactivate) pfBlockerNG and IPv4 resolving will work again.
        What are your pfBlockerNG-devel 3.1.0 settings ?

        No "help me" PM's please. Use the forum, the community will thank you.
        Edit : and where are the logs ??
