        Unless you have enabled dial-on-demand it should just keep trying to connect if it loses connection.

            This was not the case in 2.4.x. Had to reboot pfsense or disable/enable pppoe.

            Haven't tried on 2.5 yet as i had to move back to my ISP router in bridge mode due to this issue.

              There have been some bugs in the past that could present like that but nothing recently.
              If it was failing to re-connect I would expect to see an error logged.
