In a virtual machine with good hardware.
My question is do i have to think anything about paying any subscription to pfsense software or i am going to have it fully like it is without paying.
Thank you very much for your time.

        You can download it.
No fees, no nags, no disabled services. No limitations.

You still have to pay for Netflix, and your ISP will not give you a discount.

I advise you to install Youtube, type "pfSense" and have a look at the first 10 video's you find. And keep one and only one goal in mind : don't try to understand what you see, just look and absorb. Try to find out what it can do for you, what you want it to do.

Be ready to loose a lot of time - and if time is money for you, you're going to loose a lot of it.

        You made the right choice.
        Welcome.

            pfSense is a router firewall.
If you need a firewall / router, pfSense might fit your needs.
Most often, your ISP router will do just fine. Hook it up, and it works, you'll be fine.

Anyway, you can test it for yourself.
