Missing fields in PPPs setup screen

Hello.

I am trying to create a L2TP client connection. In the pfSense configuration, I navigate to INTERFACE > ASSIGN > PPPs > ADD.

I add Link Type PPTP or L2TP (doesn't matter which). I select the WAN interface. I set a description. I set in the L2TP or PPTP username and password (assigned by my VPN provider) and confirm the password.

I am not sure what to put in the IP/Gateway input box. I am not sure what to put into IP or Hostname but I suspect that is the server address of the L2TP/PPTP server.

I click SAVE.

I get this error:

The following input errors were detected:
The field Local IP address is required.
The field Subnet is required.
The field Remote IP address is required.

How do I properly input the required data? The field names do not exist on that page… :-(
