      Happy New Year to everyone,

okay, so what am trying to do is the following

i have my pfsense box with 2.4.5 all up to date

and i have an older draytek 2920 router that i would like to use as an ipsec site to site router

The idea is that i can take the draytek router with me (even with a 4g usb stick in it) and have a "mobile" router with a connection back to home using IPsec vpn

The mobile part is that the router would need to connect from ipadresses that i do now know, but still be able to build up a site to site vpn

can anyone lead me in the right way?

      Thx

@dutchie How many clients do you see connecting via your mobile router to home ?

Why not set up an IPSec or OpenVPN server on your pfSense router ?

Seems a little daft carrying about an extra router.

2.5.2 is the latest CE version BTW

Hello and thank you for your answer,

let me rephrase what i meant to say:

i have an older draytek 2920 router that i would like to use as a site to site router based on ipsec

in my home i have a pfsense box that already has a few openvpn servers running

instead of selling / throw the router draytek away i would like to use it is a Ipsec site to site router

with the draytek dialing out to my pfsense box...

can anybody help me with this? ipsec is new for me

          Thnx in advance
