Anyone have any success configuring NUT to work with a direct local USB connection to a Cyberpower UPS. This a brand new sine wave model. I tried most of the drivers with no success. I expected the USBHID to be the one but no success.

Any idea what the UPS name should be?? Other ideas?

@jeff3820 If I remember correctly, it's pretty easy, just plug in the UBS cable, launch package, and configure Nut, then reboot pfSense. You should not need to install any drivers. Create your own name i.e here's mine (Nollipower@localhost)

Under settings, what did you use for device name?

@nollipfsense I just re-read your message…I’ll make up my own name.

I did everything you recommended…except to restart Pfsense.

@nollipfsense After installing NUT and then configuring NUT it all worked after Pfsense was rebooted. The key was to reboot Pfsense.

                Thanks for the help!!
