Hello. I recently purchased a Netgear appliance with PFSense. I have CenturyLink DSL with their modem/router. I put the router into transparent bridge mode via pppoe, what do I have to do in PFSense regarding this? Do I have to do something within PFSense regarding pppoe, if not what do I have to configure if anything. Thanks.

Configure the WAN interface to connect to the PPPoE server.
        Interfaces > WAN

At "Configuration Type" select PPPoE and enter your authentication data below.

pfSense should use the proper MTU automatically. You can check it in Status > Interfaces. If you need other values go into the interface settings and state it.

So I called CenturyLink for my PPPoE creds and was informed I utilize IPoE. How does this change my setup?

            Never set this up.
So you don't need any authentication? If not, I think, it should work by selecting DHCP type. Simply give it a try.
