@thebonden well what do you want the host name to be, that would be your choice. What domain did you buy? That would be the answer to that, as to the TTL how long do you want it to be - again your choice.

@thebonden not sure how you could think one.com would be the host name?

Would be something like home or mybox or whatever not the name of service your wanting to use for ddns..

                @thebonden dude!!

if your fully qualified name you want to point to some IP is home.mydomain.tld

                Then HOME is the hostname..

                mydomain.tld is the DOMAIN.

@thebonden have no idea what that is suppose to help with?

What fully qualified domain do you want to point to your wan IP? home.yourdomain.tld, mybox.yourdomain.tld, somecool.mydomain.tld, pfsense.mydomiain.tld ??

                      In all of these cases.
home or mybox or somecool pfsense would be the HOSTNAME in that fqdn..

                      edit:

That domain does not resolve on the public internet

But the internet does not yet point to those NS..

                      You get this..

Since the name servers for one.com seem to be answering for your domain, you could setup your ddns with them, but until the internet knows that that those NS are authoritative for domain spa41.dk nobody on the internet would be able to resolve it. Without specifically doing queries direct to either the ns01 or ns02.one.com

The current gtld servers for the tld .dk are currently reporting that domain does not exist.

                      dk. 172800 IN NS a.nic.dk.
                      dk. 172800 IN NS b.nic.dk.
                      dk. 172800 IN NS c.nic.dk.
                      dk. 172800 IN NS d.nic.dk.
                      dk. 172800 IN NS l.nic.dk.
                      dk. 172800 IN NS p.nic.dk.
                      dk. 172800 IN NS s.nic.dk.

Once your registrar has finished what they need to do, then those servers will point to ns01 and ns02 as the authoritative name servers for your domain, and the internet will be able to resolve records you create either by hand or via some ddns method with one.com
