That first link is bad so we can't see what it is.

A rack appliance with dual 12core Xeons is massively overpowered for a 500Mbps connection though. In both senses.

I am getting “this post had been marked as spam
by …..” every time, when there is an URL. I can neither post a link nor the image.

Because your post contains links to other sites, it looks like spam.

            @stephenw10

Thanks mate! Sorry, I can’t. No worries.

            The dell is OptiPlex is

OptiPlex 3080 Micro Form Factor £435 plus VAT

Dell Outlet OptiPlex 3080 Micro Form Factor
            Intel Core 10th Generation i5-10500T Processor (6 Core, Up to 3.80GHz, 12MB Cache, 35W)
            Windows 10 Pro
            8GB (1X8GB) Up to 2666MHz DDR4 Non-ECC
256GB PCIe M.2 NVMe Class 35 Solid State Drive

            Intel Dual Band Wireless AC 3165 (802.11ac) 1x1 + Bluetooth 4.2

            Additional VGA Video Port
Dell KB212-B UK Irish Qwerty QuietKey USB Black Keyboard

I will have to reformat, disable the wifi and add the intel network card.

Re-the Dell server from bargain hardware, I meant to add 1 CPU unit only.

I don’t see myself upgrading unless the unit fails. A bit of future proofing should I upgrade my broadband. I will also be setting up a VPN for remote access.

I keep questioning should I rather buy a new hardware than the older ones.

Well with the cost of electricity in the UK being what it is I would be going for that over a rack mount server all day!

Brilliant. Thank you Stephen. I will check with Dell
re-room for adding the network card. If I find something cheaper in the OptiPlex range, I will post the spec here for confirmation before purchasing.

Have a good week end folks!

                Cheers!

                  Dual Intel 2,5G Cards.

Back to square one; Dell advised me that I can’t
remove the win 10 OS from the machine. It will void the warranty of the machine. I thought the warranty is on the hardware! I will check for a used SFF and post.
                    Thx

@stephenw10 Yeah. They asked me to email their technical support team, which also deals with this. They did confirm in writing. It is what it is. 😊
