Gateway Alarms when saving changes

Ever since I upgraded to version 22.01, pfSense will drop my Internet connection briefly when any changes are saved. The Gateway log shows alarm latency and about 25 seconds later is shows a clear latency. It does this for any setting change made regardless of where it is at. Has anyone else seen this?

You might be hitting this if you have a lot rules:

That would only apply to changes that reload the firewall rules.

There is a workaround for that in the recommended patches in the System Patches package now.
