hey guys. im not sure exactly what i need to do to fix this, so, seeking some guidance.

I use cloudflare as a DNS solution to send traffic to me rather than punching in my external IP... problem is, that traffic seems to stop somewhere along the line if it's set up to use Cloudflare proxies. (if i disable proxy and allow it to be DNS only, i reach my destination perfectly fine)
      example:
(not proxied) - cloud.website.com:443 takes me to the nextcloud hosted on the TrueNAS on my home network.
(proxied) - nextcloud.website.com:443 - takes me nowhere, even though both are pointed to my external IP address...

how on earth to i unbork this? :)

@menethoran, publish your firewall logs and firewall rules so we can help you faster.

@silence so, as dumb as this sounds... how do i dump my firewall logs? (theyre kind of extensive and the GUI doesnt give an easily seeable way to download them... kind of odd i guess. And, im going to appologize now as these are screenshots of my rules (didnt really know a good way to grab them otherwise... kind of a super-Noob at PfSense)

@menethoran Could you solve the problem?

I am also having issues with this and could also not solve it.

@klaussemmler well I can tell you what the OP problem was, wan net is not the internet..

I don't see how anything would work with those rules he posted.

@johnpoz I could partially fix the problem on my end. I have created my own thread for my issue: https://forum.netgate.com/topic/170709/haproxy-502-bad-gateway-with-cloudflare-proxy/3

So let not bump this topic any longer. Thank you for the swift reply @johnpoz !
