      Hi,
sometime last night my SG-3100 stops working (for what reasons ever). I noticed that when I start working this morning, no internet connection was possible. Even more, the applicance did not respond to "ping". Connecting to serial console also shows nothing than a blank page in terminal window. Each key stroke causes to jump the cursor a line down, but no feedback from appliance.

A power off/power on (disconnecting the power cord) solves the issue.
From other network devices which are regular accessing the internet I found that the disconnect from internet was about 30minutes before midnight local time.
Is there any chance to figure out what happened? Searching the forum I found this 10 year old post and it seems to be still valid. 😢 .
No chance to find a log after such an event!?

      Regards

P.S. Applicance runs with 22.01 for several weeks.

A power loss - or (kernel) crash could explain the absence of any log traces.

And might create another problem, that can lead to crashes (again). See

Edit : and where are the logs ??

Nice video 😃 , but I guess this is only an advise how to proceed after the power cycle!?
Because appliance was unresponsive there was no chance to run a file system check in advance.

Finally done the fsck, looking forward, if such behaviour will reoccur in future.

          Regards
