i tried to install squid packages on my new pfsense machine. done.

    i tried to configure it.

:( >:( oops !! wrong configuration. i configure the listening port to 80, transparent. and nomore pfsense gui. ??? ???

then i reset the machine to factory default. reconfigure the lan, wan, nat,  firewall.   :-[

    and nomore squid, ofcourse.

everthing seems to be just fine. a few hours then, the squid come back(just installed again) and listen to port 80 again  ??? ???

it happens for twice. should i reinstall the machine again ?

did the pfsense install the squid automatically ? after new setting, i have checked that no packages installed.

how to set up the squid via console/shell? what file should i access ?

      1.  Learn to search the forums.
      2.  Set your pfSense WebGUI port to HTTPS/443.
