Static DHCPs not showing as static on DHCP/status??
-
Hi,
I have set some of my DHCP clients as static, but that is not reflected on the "status_dhcp_leases" page. It shows the last one I have added. Then going into DHCP settings for each network it shows correctly at the bottom.
What I am after is a simple way of listing what is what, and not having to dig too much. Possible? Thanks -

Hi, thanks. Yes, that is what it looks like. But my point is, I have set a couple of of them as static, but only one (the latest) is displayed at the top of the page with the "person" symbol, all else have the checkmark, regardless if set as static or not.
Looks like this;

@furom just because you made something static (dhcp reservation).. If it had a lease before, that would still be shown.
example..
Here I have a device (my robovac) currently dhcp - I just setup a static (reservation) for it. It still shows it has the lease on its old dhcp address. And the reservation is there, once it tries to renew that old lease, it should get the new reservation, and that old lease could be deleted after it has switched to the new reservation.
are you sure you actually applied once you created the reservation?

Yes, absolutely agree, that is one of the beauties with using DHCP instead of just static addressing

Well, I would believe so? I can see the static reservations at the bottom their respective DHCP server tabs, just not indicated as reserved/static on the status page, which I would have thought should show more than just a single one of them... but I appreciate the question, if it works for all but me, it maay just be a setting somewhere I guess :)
