      Hi All,

Running a Netgate-2100, and just upgraded to 22.01. On the dashboard it's showing the CPU usage >90%. However when looking at Diagnostics > System Monitor, it's showing the CPU: User hovering at ~24%. Packages currently installed are only:

      • Avahi
      • NtopNG
      • AWS-Wizard
      • Ipsec Profile Wizard

What's an accurate depiction of CPU usage dashboard or monitor? Should I be concerned?

The dashboard shows the total usage across all cores. So on the 2100 that's 2 cores.
That could be both cores at 90% or one core at 100% and the other at 80%.

Diag > System Activity should show you what's using it. 90% is very high unless it's passing a load of traffic. Running top -aSH at the CLI shows the same thing
On a test box here I see:

        last pid: 72786; load averages: 0.17, 0.32, 0.26 up 0+02:28:52 15:38:17
