      Hello,

after updating from 2.5.2 to 2.6.0, pfsense has a very high CPU usage of 20 and higher. The main processes are pfctl, PHP-FPM and dpinger. It is not possible to use the web interface. SSH is also impossible.

We read that the problem existed in version 2.5.2. But that should actually be fixed in version 2.6.0?!

      Many thanks for your help.

After installing the patches, the load went down.

What problem did you read about? What patches did you install?

Is the loading now back to 'normal', 2.5.2, levels?

            I meant the issue in 2.5.2: https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/12045

I don't remember exactly which patches were installed. System -> Patches

            Recards

So you installed the patches in 2.6 and now the CPU loading is as expected?

Exactly, after the patches the cpu load went down.

That's shouldn't be necessary or even possible in 2.6.
