      My firewall log is jammed full of attempts by (TMobile) phone on my Wifi, attempting to talk to the outside world using its Link-Local (FE80) IPV6 address.

      This seems wrong in Many Many ways.

      • Do I need a rule blocking Internet access from FE80? (Got an example?)

      • Am I missing some config item that would improve the situation?

      Hints appreciated.

        @mrpete

        Do you have IPv6 available on your LAN? Is it working properly? You don't need a rule, as those packets aren't going anywhere.

        I haven't lost my mind. It's around here...somewhere...
