      Hi,

After upgrading my Netgate 6100 to the latest firmware (02.02.00.00t-uc-15) appliance is extremely slow, where before (02.02.00.00t-uc-04 or 14, don't remember correctly) was just fine. Already reset the unit, same behavior. When clicking on pfsense+ logo to go to main dashboard, it takes to much time, where before, was almost instantly. Navigating on menus seems more or less ok, but sometimes hangs up for a while. When clicking "Save" hangs up for a while till saves the config.

Anyone with similar behavior with this firmware version?

For an almost 900€ unit this is unacceptable at very least! Gezzzzzz :(

@visionsoul I dont know the 6100 but from my experience some units need to be power cycled after a bios/firmware update/upgrade.
        Just my 2 cents ...

In this case maybe some of the the Netgate Guys have a explanation ...

Measured right now with stopwatch. It takes around 1.30 minutes to get to the dashboard. This is insane!! Saving some change it takes more or less the same. Impossible to work with this..............

Is it only the dashboard you're seeing that delay on?

Do you still see that if you remove the system information widget as a test?

What about the 'System > Netgate Firmware Upgrade' page?

I've never seen a delay like that in the 6100 or any device. The dashboard is always slower to load than other pages but on the order of a few seconds nothing like what you're seeing.

                  @stephenw10 Hi,

As i said, problem was observed when getting (from any menu) to dashboard or when saving some setting.

However now from nowhere, it started to work perfectly normal. I don't get it. Seriously! What a strange unit....

                  Anyway, thanks for the support!

@fireodo Must be..... this are some very strange behaviors from the unit. Like the problem i have with LAN2 port (igc1) ony works connected directly to a switch. If i try to connect my pc directly it doesn't work at all! Even the port leds are off..... all other ports works just fine, minus this one!!!

As you said, must be a ghost in the machine. Dear lord!!!!!

                      Best Regards!

Maybe a MDI/MDI-X Problem (could be cable related)

                        Best Regards,

@fireodo Don't think so, because on the other 3 ports works just fine. I used the same cable....

Nevermind, i don't plan to use these ports either, just the two 10gb ones :)

                          Best Regards!

Hmm, that's weird indeed. I hate that sort of issue. Glad it's not affecting you any longer but let us know if you see anything further.
