      Hi

I have a computer running a pfSense 2.3.2 64 bit which acts as a hardware firewall to a LAN, and also manages the ADSL connection via a router in PPPoA mode.

Now, how do I configure this firewall so that it gives a certain amount of network and Internet bandwidth to two Smart TV with a fixed IP only when these devices have actually need?

      Thanks

      Bye

Have you read any of the tutorials? What are you stuck on? I personally like to use HFSC, but the biggest issue for most people is bufferbloat and I recommend that if you don't know what you're doing, just enable CoDel on your WAN and LAN and set the bandwidth to 80%-90% of your typical real speed.

Probably in the Traffic Shaping forum, where people post questions about the traffic shaper and quality of service.
