Logs show Scheduler Rule reference only and not Scheduler Description
-
When creating a firewall rule, the logs will show the description of the rule if one exists.
e.g. VLAN22VOIP to HTTP (1654069992)
however, if the rule has a schedule applied, the log shows the scheduler rule as s:5d66db51b3fbc (1653986728) and does not show the Scheduled Rule's description.
astethics i know, but makes the log very confusing when it only has scheduled references.

What snapshot are you running? There was a bug like that weeks ago but it been fixed for some time now.

I can't reproduce this on a current snapshot, I see the expected label:

@jimp i am on 22.01-RELEASE, so i will hang on for the actual release of 22.05 and hopefully it will resolve.
I also have an issue when the rule deactivates (or activates if you like).
I have a rule that passes voip ports and addresss for my providers from the hours 06:00 - 23:59. This worked fine under 2.45 -> 2.5.2
Since i upgraded to 2.60 and then to 22.01
If i reboot pfsense, or i don't enable the schedule the 3 providers register succesfully.
I can reset the voip devices multiple times and the 3 providers will register. When the schedule kicks in, the http and the voip services are disconnected.
at 06:00 when the schedule kicks in again, the http works and one of the providers register, but 2 other fail to register. If i reset the device, the 2 still don't register. But if i reboot so the schedule has not blocked the rules, then all services register

You are posting in the category for 22.05 development snapshots, which is intended to be for reporting issues found while running a 22.05 development snapshot.
The log issue is definitely fixed on 22.05, not sure about the other problem you mentioned but if you want to raise that issue I suggest you start a fresh thread in a more appropriate category and ask about it there.
