      Hello,

Well I'm not sure that the problem is in the pfsense software.
I have a USB-modem (4G) connected to one of the USB ports.

I get a local IP from the modem to pfSense.
I removed the "Block private networks" and "Block bogon networks".

Everything works fine until I restart pfSense. I won't get any IP-address from the USB-modem until I go under "Status" -> "Interfaces" and click on renew.
Then I get my IP and all is fine.

The pfSense firewall (Alix 2D3, nanoBSD embedded) is implemented in a unit that will be powered off from time to time.

I'm running 6 similar units with pfSense V2.2.6 but I can't find anywhere to download that version as a nanoBSD or a solution on how to fix this on V 2.3.2.

I would say you probably have to edit /etc/dhclient.conf.  I would start with the explanations here. I've never done this, but I would expect a tweak to one of these timers should do it. Now you get to figure out which one  :)

the configuration options are listed here:
