Old bug or new issue?

We are seeing this error in the logs, are not running IPV6 so not sure how this got here.
There were error(s) loading the rules: /tmp/rules.debug:159: rule expands to no valid combination - The line in question reads [159]: match inet6 proto udp from (128. redacted) to any ridentifier 1656043156 queue (qVoIP) label "USER_RULE: Connections From Upstream SIP Server"
@ 2022-06-27 22:51:39Any idea why its trapping an error on inet6 and how to address?

What version are you running?
That is likely from the traffic shaping wizard, there was a bug there.
https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/12937
You can manually edit the floating rule in question and change it to IPv4 only, or if you are on a version with the fix you can re-run the shaper wizard.

Makes sense, I will look at the kb you sent me. I did try and delete the rule and re-create it but same results. Running 22.05 now same issue.
-
Oh this just gets more and more interesting... shows ipv/4 in floating rules already

Those are not the same rule you have failing in the error message.
The one in the error message has a different description.
Check all the other tabs and see where that specific rule is, labeled "Connections From Upstream SIP Server"

Rebooted today and the issue is gone.. bizarre
