Hi i looking to buy some hardware to install pfsence on and was looking for recommendations.

The firewall will be running the following
      Dual Wan
      Site2Site VPN
      Web traffic filtering
      DHCP
      DNS

i have been looking at netgate own hardware but see what else is on the market.

      Thanks

I bought a Qotom mini PC. See sig for details.

PfSense running on Qotom mini PC
i5 CPU, 4 GB memory, 32 GB SSD & 4 Intel Gb Ethernet ports.
        UniFi AC-Lite access point

        I haven't lost my mind. It's around here...somewhere...

The Qotom PC I bought is more than sufficient for that. However, newer models provide 2.5 Gb Ethernet ports, which might be considered, depending on your plans.

Most anything you get these days should meet you requirements without a problem. For web filtering, I'd use something like OpenDNS rather than run it on the firewall. I like the PC Engines APU boxes. I stopped buying Chinese mini pc's after some failures and noticing some of the 'Intel' nics had Realtech mac addresses...

Assuming that's 100Mbps (not 100MegaBytes) then, yeah, almost anything can do that.
