Just noticed that my NTP is not working, any tips?
pfsense version 22.05ntpdate -q 200.160.0.8 server 200.160.0.8, stratum 2, offset -0.435759, delay 0.04805 2 Jul 15:12:46 ntpdate[69100]: adjust time server 200.160.0.8 offset -0.435759 sec ntpdate -q 200.189.40.8 server 200.189.40.8, stratum 2, offset -0.434104, delay 0.08768 2 Jul 15:13:09 ntpdate[95157]: adjust time server 200.189.40.8 offset -0.434104 sec ntpdate -q 200.192.232.8 server 200.192.232.8, stratum 2, offset -0.434944, delay 0.06168 2 Jul 15:13:16 ntpdate[95245]: adjust time server 200.192.232.8 offset -0.434944 sec

@mcury how did you set these up?
Those are overlapping networks - pfsense would not even allow you to create those.

@johnpoz hmmmmm, I know what that is.
It is a ipsec mobile road warrior in which I have two pools of IPs using this "hack":https://forum.netgate.com/topic/172519/state-of-the-union-in-pfsense-land-opinions/32?_=1656797435331
https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/13227Edit: I fixed it
But the NTP problem persists..
-
I fixed by selecting one interface for NTP to listen on (LAN).
And now its working..Do you know if I should select localhost interface too?
-
@mcury I don't have mine listening on localhost.. Just on the lan interfaces I wan to provide ntp services on.

@johnpoz Ok then, thanks once again johnpoz
