      Hey Guys,

I've had a slow blinking light on my SG-1100 a few days ago.
Apparently it was a system update and I did the update.

I've checked the status of my box again and it's back to 22.05
with no references of an update to 22.10...

I'm guessing this is not normal.
Did NetGate somehow revert my box back to 22.05?

      Thanks.

@asgr71 said in System Update to 22.10:

        update to 22.10

There is no 22.10, the next release of 22 is scheduled to be 22.09

Possible you were on 22.01 and read it as 22.10? And it just updated to the current version that is 22.05

            Just out of interest,
Is it possible to verify the integrity of the system update?
            Some sort of checksum...
Or will a factory reset restore the system system to it's default state?
            Thanks

@asgr71 You can verify the checksum of a supplied installer file when you download it -- pfSense Plus for Netgate devices have a SHA256 file linked in the email with the firmware download link, and pfSense CE has one linked on the download page as well.

I cannot speak for the online update file(s), however.

Factory reset will load a default config file and reboot your firewall. All the logs and other files are still the same -- just not the config.

@asgr71 If your concerned the update didn't go well.

Your best bet is to ask for the image from tac, they will prob send you link in like 5 minutes tops. And then do a clean install.

                  @johnpoz Thanks John.
                  Requested and received.

Just wanted to check that the BIOS is correct...

Is the BIOS version correct as well?

                  Thanks.

It's actually going to be 22.11 but we haven't updated the snapshots yet to reflect that. It's already that way in Redmine, though.
