    Gateway works on one NIC but not another

      Hi all,
      I am setting up a server for work and I got it working perfectly, however when I attempted to migrate the setting for the WAN NIC to another NIC I installed, im having problems with the Gate way. I basically mimicked the settings on the old 10/100 NIC to the newly installed 1000 NIC, all the settings took, but the gateway refuses to change back to online. I even tried resting the server and re-performing the set up using the 1000 NIC, but the issue still exists.
      Can light please be shed on this situation?
