      Hi all,

First time poster here and I searched everything but I didn't see any answers that fixed my issues so here goes my plea for help.

I have a Ubiquiti setup/gateway etc (10.0.1.x) in one office and a Netgate pfSense box (10.0.2.x) in another office. I wanted to make the two offices connect and once set up, it works perfectly. Both sides see the other and files transfer (really quickly actually) and all is good with the world... for a while.

After a period of time, the connection drops and the only way I can get it back up is to reboot the pfSense box - once rebooted, it again works perfectly. This led me to believe it was a timeout issue so doing research I saw where others were having the same issues - I followed the settings and enable the keep alive portion and even had it sync up the timing so it would not get out of whack and cause issues (I read that that happens) but the issues persists and I still have the connections dropping every time.

If anyone has any advice, I'd be all ears and appreciate in advance any advice - I'm new (ish) to pfSense in that I set it up and it's worked great for years and still does except for this one issue which I am certain I can resolve with the help of your big brains.

      Thanks much!
