It looks like it's booting from eMMC. You can confirm that at the command line using:
      glabel status
      And
      geom disk list

Are you sure it was installed to SSD before the upgrade?

Yes, it should show there as nvd0. Does it appear in the boot log?

If the SSD failed for some reason you would have needed to reinstall to the eMMC. Or at the very least to copy your config back into it.

Any m.2 NVMe drive should work there, I'm not aware of any restrictions. However that must still be in warranty, you should open a support ticket:

You can always open a ticket for a hardware issue like this.

There is a pretty good chance that the BIOS got it’s bootdrive changed and your install was made on the eMMC instead.
I had quite an interesting reinstall session where a BIOS reset caused the eMMC drive to become the boot device, but I still reinstalled on the SSD - that caused all kinds of problems and a pretty difficult way back to the initial state.

Open a ticket with Netgate - They can help you on this since it’s so new.

Love the no fuss of using the official appliances :-)

Doh! That's a very good point. I completely forgot about that!
@umitdk take note if you're considering buying your own. It should be under warranty though.
