Switching used

Just curious but based on the blog details here https://www.netgate.com/blog/netgate-pfsense-plus-an-out-of-band-data-center-use-case
what ToR switchign is used in this environment?
I assume Routing and Firewalling is pfsense/Tnsr -
@michmoor I've reviewed the blog and don't see anything that would suggest ToR is being used at all.

I don't see where your coming up with tor anything in that blog? Are you reading TNSR as "tor"?
Do you mean top of rack? ;)
"a top-of-rack switch"

Yep i think i misunderstood. I read TOR as TNSR.
Although im still curious as to what switching infrastructure is used. This part in particular: The XG-1541 firewalls are in turn connected to another switch which provides a high-speed uplink - via a pair of TNSR routers - to the Internet. This represents the ‘data path’ over which all customer software distribution is fulfilled.

any switching you want.. Top of rack switching is just normally a switch in a rack, which normally yes runs high speed fiber to other racks, or distribution layer or core, etc.

In some cases you will be off the need to use routers also inside of your LAN network and pending on your network
topology and network Layer(s) it might be good to know
where exactly you should connect your TSNR router.Although im still curious as to what switching
infrastructure is used.It is pending on your network topology and/or network Layer design. as an example;
2 core switches (redundant) - Core Layer2
TOR Switch in each of the Racks - Distribution Layer
Access switches (stacked in ring) - Access LayerThis can be differing from design to design and also where
all these racks and/or switches will be installed. example:IT Room (Server room) with Core Switches
on each stage of the building one rack with stacks and ToR
the stacks are connected to the ToR and the ToRs are connected to the Core switch(es)
