2.6 upgrade path to Plus now 22.05 without full reinstall of packages?

On a clean reinstall of our datacenter cluster, the pfSense Upgrade to Plus now shows wanting to go directly to 22.05 but without reinstalling all packages (only ~90 packages to ugprade, no reinstall or remove). Is that new and safe/approved or is it just caused through 22.05 now being stable and the upgrade pointing to the stable path instead of 22.01?

I seem to remember the official docs still mentioning the path with 2.6-new/reinstalled -> 22.01 -> <plus-stable> (now 22.05). So now we're unsure as how to proceed as we have a downtime scheduled :)

A quick word about it would be nice.
