      Unusual question, I know... but embarrassingly, I have lost a couple of screws that go in the side of my 5100 and I can't seem to find replacements. I know it will function without it LOL but bugs me that I lost them and they are not there. Does anyone know the name/kind of screw? Sorry for the ridiculous question.

        Pretty sure they are M3x4 countersunk head. Shouldn't be hard to find.

            Excuse me for jumping in...
            @stephenw10 :are you sure this screws are metric measured? Not imperial?
            Most devices from US using an imperial screw thread.

              Like 95% sure. All the other screws are metric and I measured the threads at fractionally below 3mm. The screws are too short to usefully run through a die though so checking 100% is difficult.

                Actually 100% they are M3x0.5 threaded:
