      Hello,

      General spoken I am happy with actual 2.7 CE version. However that does not take away that IMHO the GUI is .... slow .... not responsive. The Login response very slow.

      And that on an
      Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6600K CPU @ 3.50GHz
      Current: 2000 MHz, Max: 3501 MHz
      4 CPUs: 1 package(s) x 4 core(s)
      AES-NI CPU Crypto: Yes (active)
      16 GB RAM, 60G (older) Sata SSD

      Which is not a slow computer for a router IMHO.

      Perhaps it is possible to improve this (a factor 5 would be nice)

          @cool_corona

          There is a 2.7.0 https://forum.netgate.com/category/88/ce-2-7-0-development-snapshots

          I am running those snapshots for month now. Actual version is quite OK, as far as I can see (Apart of the GUI responsiveness).

            @louis2 Its in development and therefore is bet/rc.

            I find the GUI quite responsive actually.

              It’s all about the widgets you have applied to the dashbord. Remove the bad offenders, and the GUI/login will be much quicker.

              Love the no fuss of using the official appliances :-)
