      Hey everyone,

      My apologies for making another post about CARP on a PPPoE connection, but I'm really struggling with the setup and I need some guidance and assistance with the setup.

      Currently, I have the following primary setup:

      1. PPPoE connection setup on both PFSense boxes
      2. Sync profiles, sync interfaces setup, and vlans setup
      3. verified that the ISP is supplying 2 IPs

      What I am now struggling with is the actual setup of CARP. I found this posting: https://forum.netgate.com/topic/135904/configure-an-pppoe-on-an-carp-if/5 from user @TugBoat and while it was informative, I lack the experience to fully grasp the instructions they provided in the post.

      If anyone is willing to write down a step by step tutorial, I would be ever so grateful.
