I have a few 1:1 NATs that I've been using for years.  I needed to add another.  I set up an unused WAN IP on the External subnet IP field.  I had my WAN interface selected.  For the Internal IP part I select Single Host and put in the internal IP address of the machine (as I have done many times).  This time it keeps telling me "Please match the requested format" (see attached snapshot).

      BTW: I'm running 2.3.2-RELEASE (amd64)
