ZFS mirror (RAID 1) question
-
Hi there, Currently I have pfsense 2.4 with UFS in one mSATA disk. I want to change my installation departing with a 2.6 installer and two mSATA (same size each). The rest of the hardware will remain the same. It's not Netgate hardware.
What I want: I want pfsense start as usual (or continue working depending the case) if one drive fails or die.
My question is: Is ZFS mirror configuration the correct solution for what I want? Or in the case of failure I need to insert a new disk and go trough a resilvering process and this will prevent pfsense booting normally?
Thank you for reading.

@faktorqm If you want to not lose your system or data when the drive fails mirror is the way to go.
Resilvering would be utilized when you are replacing a failed drive with another one after the failure.

@faktorqm Use hardware raid and run it virtualized....

Thanks both for the answers :)
