A few days after I ordered a 4100, I received an email saying there was a promotion for 6 months of Pro support that was available as part of the purchase. I have spent more time than I like to admit, poking around the web site and simply cannot find a way to register for this support.

It would not seem that Is it only available at the time of purchase, as, since this was my first contact with Netgate, they would not have known I existed until made this purchase so would be unaware of my email address. And, as it was during the time of this promotion I would think they should have included it, but then again, I would think I would have received some sort of confirmation.

I would really like to have a support contract and this offer would surely be a good way to determine if the services offered are, to me at least, worth the price.

Netgate offers a zero to ping support anyway, but I could not find a way to create a support ticket from the web site. All I got from the submit a ticket web page was a link to the Buy a Support Package page.

This experience has me questioning my mental capabilities! What am I missing?

@barth https://go.netgate.com redirects to https://www.netgate.com/tac-support-request. Once you pick your model it will ask for a serial number.

Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.

          @steveits said in pfSense support?:

          https://go.netgate.com

That is one of the pages I found during my investigation. All I see on that page is a White bar that says Netgate, A blue section that says I should fill in the form below and contains a light blue button that says Learn More, then a white bar that says Support Ticket Request Form and than a blue bar with copyright information.

@barth Hmm not sure why it isn’t loading for you. I’d paste a screenshot but can’t seem to from my phone.

AHA! I tried this link on different computers on my network, and none of them work. So, I hooked up a different router and switch to one of my ISPs and it does work! My guess there's something in pfBlockerng that's preventing access. Seems Netgate should have a little talk with them! <grin>

If I can figure out how to tell which entry in those lists is doing it, I'll fix it.

                Thanks for your response.

It's hosted in hubspot so it's probably something blocking that if I had to guess.

                    No need to guess.
When you using pfBlockerng-devel => go to Firewall > pfBlockerNG > Alerts and look at the Deny and DNSBL (below) part of that page.
If you added IP and/or DNSBL feeds yourself to pfBlockerng=, you should be aware that these lists could contain IPs or host names that you actually want to visit. Their IP and/or host names will get listed as blocked.
You can white list them, or you can decide to remove the list/feed that you have previously activated.

Contacting the list owner might help, but this would be a very slow process.

No "help me" PM's please. Use the forum, the community will thank you.
Edit : and where are the logs ??
