      I have a pfsense box that is crashing on me, and according to the system logs it appears to happen sometimes when the WAN connection becomes unstable.

      I am hoping someone more knowledgeable than me can help me decipher the crash dump to learn what the problem might be. My understanding is that it might not be a hardware issue as I initially thought because pfsense was able to generate this crash dump for me.

        Looks likely to be bad memory to me. Especially if you haven't made any changes recently that might have triggered it.
        Is there any reason you're running an old version?
