      Hi all

I'm a newbie in pfsense and very impressed by this great product. I've tested it successfully as a captive portal.

Now, I wonder if it could work as transparent bridge AND dual wan. I know in that situation, captive portal will not work.
I would like to use it like this : LAN -> firewall (Watchguard : firewall rules + 2 IPsec links) ->pfsense ?? -> 2 wan links (sdsl via router and adsl via router).

I've seen on docs how to make transparent bridge or outbound loadbalancing and i wonder if it could work like this. Have you got any remarks to help me ?

      Thanks in advance

      Vincent

loadbalancing needs routing as it is using a gateway pool. this won't work in transparent (bridged) mode.

Thanks for you answer. I really thought that pfsense could be a solution for my problem. What a pity.

          Thanks anyway

          Regards

            Replace the watchguard with pfsense?
