Today, a lot of us have been made aware of the new ping vulnerability (CVE-2022-23093) which affects FreeBSD. Since pfSense 2.6.0 has not been updated since Mon Jan 31 19:57:53 UTC 2022, is it affected by this new vulnerability?

If pfSense is affected by this, can you please let us know and I look forward to the upcoming security update. If pfSense is not affected by this, can you also please let us know?
