      I just learned there's a vulnerability in PING with FreeBSD 12, 12.3, 12.4, 13 and 13.1.
Our pfSense box answers ping requests from the outside. Does this mean we are vulnerable?
Are there any plans for fixing this issue? Are there any mitigations you can suggest?

            Thanks for the link.
I didn't want to be a "I don't search for anything" guy. My source reported it as a brand new flaw. So I stopped scrolling down at one post with the date "16 days back". I admit, that was a completely wrong interpretation of me.
            Thank you for helping anyway.

Can I mark this as "solved"? I can't find a switch for that.

@stepinsky you would need to edit the subject (ie your first post) then you can edit that and add a tag of solved, etc.
