I'm running the 2.7.0 devel train in a VM under ESXi 7.0U3 on a Smoothwall S8 box.

This morning I tried to update to today's offering and noticed a yellow pfSense crash report banner and the pfSense front page reporting that 2.7.0.20221208.0600 was available despite having just tried to update to it. I tried updating again and this time it said there were just four packages to be upgraded, but the first time there were seven. I have the WireGuard and pfBlockerNG-devel packages installed.

Attached is a screenshot of the update details and the crash data.login-to-view

    info.0 textdump.tar.0

pfSense is still functioning but I don't really know what state it is in.

This system is an ESXi VM. Given the panic points to a memory issue, it's more likely to be an issue with the VM itself and not the upgrade. FWIW I have not run into this on ESXi 7.
