      Hi

      WAN IP 192.168.18.99
      LAN IP 192.168.1.1

From a PC in the 192.168.1.x range I can access the pfSense GUI.
I've added a firewall rule to WAN :

      Source 192.168.18.5
      Port *
      Destination This Firewall
      Port 443(HTTPS)

But from 192.168.18.5 I can't access the GUI.
Also I can't ping the VM PC running pfSense on 18.99 from 18.5

Any idea what I've done wrong ?

      Thanks

You probably need to uncheck Block private networks and loopback addresses on the WAN interface. This is necessary to accept connections from RFC1918 addresses into WAN.

DO NOT set a source address/port in a port forward or firewall rule unless you KNOW you need it!
