      @jarhead This SG-1100, is it end-of-light already?

      Nope.

        @mcury Yeah, I misread the 1000 for 1100.

            You'll need a recovery image for 22.05 on the 1100 specifically, the plus image for the 6100 is the wrong architecture.

            The 1100 can run 23.01 OK, I have mine on it here.

            As others have pointed out it's the 1000 that can't run 23.01.

              @jimp Ok, thank you.

              Will it boot from the USB stick now that it does not boot normally anymore?

              What about the ZFS and backup recovery?

              Before trying to upgrade to 23.1 again, should I disable RAM disk? Maybe that was the reason for failure?

                Got the recovery image for 1100, but it does not boot from USB stick.
                Is it just a paper weight now?

                  Keep talking with TAC, they'll help you get it going again.

                    Sure enough, it is going now. I also have 6100 and just switched the console cable from it to 1100 expecting Putty to work with the same COM port. It didn't. With the right COM port console worked ok and 1100 has been recovered. Next I'll restore the backup and try to upgrade to 23.1 again.
