WAN Failover: SIP / VoIP
-
Hi everyone,
I got quite an interesting issue. We have a pfsense 4100 box with a DSL- and a 5G-connection in a Failover-Multi-WAN setting. When the main DSL-connection fails, the pfsense switches over to the 5G-Failover connection with no issues. The SIP-Phones reconnect regularly to the external PBX. As as soon as the main DSL connection becomes available again the SIP phones stop working until we manually reset the state table. The 5G-gateway is doing NAT and the DSL gateway is in bridge mode so the pfsense is doing the NATing.
The topology is as following:
NAT on pfsense -> DSL gateway -> WAN pfsense -> 5G-Gateway -> NAT on 5G gateway -> WAN
It seems like some of the SIP data streams from the same device are stuck on the 5G connection not switching over to DSL again and some other are on the DSL gateway.
Has anyone seen a similar issue yet?

I think this redmine issue might be covering a similar issue https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/855.
Does anyone have a work around for voip connections so far?
