      2.6.0 required I install Realtek 2.5gb (8125B) drivers from Realtek. Worked fine. Replace with Intel nic and upgraded to pfSense Plus 22.01 to 22.05. Do not want to reinstall Realtek 2.5gb nic until I check if Plus has Realtek drivers or old freeBSD drivers. How do I check before I reinstall nic?

        The alternative Realtek driver is not installed by default in any pfSense version. So you would need to install it in 22.05 to get support for that 2.5G NIC.

          @stephenw10 Thank you. There was a well written procedure for 2.6.0 to install the driver, is there a procedure for install for plus?

            The same procedure should work in 22.05.

            In 23.01 the pkg is in our repo so you can just 'pkg install' it directly.
