      Hello,

We have two VLAN in our office, one for guest and the other for the office

I intend to implement bandwith limiters especially for the guest wifi such that clients connected to the guest VLAN do not get the same speeds as the corporate clients

Under interface I have the 3 interfaces, WAN and guest and corporate

Could you kindly advise me on the procedure… especially on whether I need to do it from the guest interface or WAN

      Thanks

So basically i intend to limit the speeds for the guest vlan, I have configured  traffic shaping by that particular interface and the download speeds have been limited but the upload speeds still remain the same

ie. this is when i test with speedtest.

any misconfiguration or anything i might have missed out?

        regards

Without details we have no idea whether you've misconfigured or not.

Please correct any obvious misinformation in my posts.

I have a similar situation at my church where we want to limit guests at the church and not allow them to use up all of our bandwidth.  We have two vlans also, one LAN and one GuestLAN.  We have an 80x5 connect guesion for our WAN.  I ended up setting up a per ip limiter and it works pretty slick I think.  I picked an arbitrary number that I wanted guests to have for bandwith.  Mine is 30 down and 2 up.  The slick part is that it divides the available bandwith up between the number of guests dynamically.  So, if one guest then its 30x2, if two guests its 15x1, etc.  I can post some of the configuration if you're interested.

              Hello guys,
I don't know how to config Multi WAN ( 4Wans) traffic shaper with single LAN. I used Traffic shaper wizzard but i think need a better config for my dormitory
it's very kind if someone teach me step by step how to configure traffic shaping

              Right now i have

              2 Wans = 40Mbps
              2 Wans = 45Mbps

Maximum client connect same time around 180 clients ( laptop and smartphone )

I don't know config the priority set higher for web (facebook, youtube v.v…), then for game and last for download and torrent.

              Any improvements are welcome !

              Sorry for my bad english
