      Hello pfSense community,

I am running a SG-2440 device with pfSense. I was using 2 wlan hotspots (one for guests…) until the first 2.3 update - which took place some time ago (April?). Starting from this update, using cloned wlan interfaces triggers a reboot loop. The reboot takes place during the "configurating wlanx interface" line in the console log (post-boot). Adding the wlan interface directly (no clone via the wireless menu) is working fine and that is what I am using at the moment.

I did some testing and cleanly installed the new version (auto setup) and imported my config without the cloned interfaces. This resolves the problem and I am also able to re-add the cloned interfaces. The problem does not occur immediateley, I think it starts when your cloned interfaces are enabled during start.
