      Hi,

I did an installation of several PFsense boxes from a base image I created (i.e., I installed the first one, did all the configuration there, and then performed a snapshot of it to use for the installation of the other boxes).

The problem is that I now find that when trying to use the auto-backup feature, all have the same devide key/id, so I'm sure this will cause issues (since the backup of all boxes will get mixed up at the server).

Hence, my question is: is there any way to cause the device key/id to be regenerated? (such that I can for each box to have a unique device key/id).

      Thanks!

      Regards,
      Fernando

It uses the SSH key. See: https://forum.netgate.com/topic/150789/update-ssh-public-key
